Mr. Mohammad Shirajul Islam FCA is a veteran Chartered Accountant with expanded expertise in the areas of Auditing, Accounting, Financing, Secretarial Issues, Taxation, Policy development, advisory and management consultancy. He has 21 years of professional experience in the corporate sector especially in the manufacturing, real estate and service industries. Before setting up the new firm under the name and title of Shiraj Wadud & Co. Mr. Shiraj worked in M Hannan & Co. Chartered Accountants as a partner. Prior to that, Mr. Shiraj worked at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC., a leading giant electronics conglomerate in Bangladesh which is a listed as public company in the DSE and CSE, as the Head of Internal Audit & Compliance. Earlier he worked in Unique Hotel and Resorts PLC. as Senior GM-Accounts & Finance and Company CFO. Mr. Shiraj participated in different training programs, seminars and workshops at home and abroad. Besides CA, academically he earned his second Master’s degree (MPA) from the University of Dhaka and LL.B degree from South East University Dhaka. Mr. Shirajul is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) since 2011 and active life member of various social welfare organizations.
